  8. webPlug is a MUI-based HTML editor for the Amiga.

  10. Features:

  12.     -MUI interface with built-in editor, using the TextEditor.mcc.
  13.  
  14.     -Can send the current document to any browser (AWeb, IBrowse
  15.      AMosaic, Multiview and VoyagerNG are currently
  16.      supported). Supporting a new browser is just a matter of creating
  17.      a new external library for it.

  19.     -Supports most important HTML tags, including some HTML 3.0 and
  20.      Netscape® tags, such as <CENTER>, <FONT>, tables...
  21.      The user (you :) can define any number of new tags.
  22.  
  23.     -Features automatic generation of some entities, such as tables.
  24.      Just tell webPlug that you want a 3x3 table and it will insert
  25.      it in the editor.

  27.     -Can display images using Datatypes or any external image viewer.

  31. New/Changes in v1.45:

  33.     webPlug v1.45 fixes a number of problems that were introduced in
  34.     v1.4 and adds some improvements and new functionality:

  36.     - Some problems with the translation function have been solved.
  37.       The function has been actually rewritten nearly from the scratch.
  38.       
  39.       The new version is faster, smaller and handles all the special
  40.       chars. As a bonus, you can freely specify which letters you don't
  41.       want to translate.

  43.     - A couple of obscure bugs that crashed the program when changing
  44.       of document have been killed.
  45.  
  46.     - The marked area is now stored when changing from doc to doc.

  61. Due to a severe lack of time I'm no longer able to work on webPlug.
  62.  
  63. I'm *not* giving up with it, but in the next months I won't be able to
  64. work on it, nor my other projects.
  65. Because of this, together with the low number of registered users, I've
  66. decided to release this version as freeware, so everybody can use it freely.
